Ugh. I'm freakin' tired, but I felt like I should write something on here since I haven't blogged in a while.
Um, this week...Tuesday we met with the kids' teachers. Jules and Emma are both doing great in school, although part of me was offended that they weren't getting perfect marks. Emma was all S's & O's, and Jules was all B's and A's. Very good, especially since Jules has missed a lot of school what with the diabetes and all. After the conferences I voted, though to be honest I'm not really even clear what or who I was voting for. Gotta do the civic duty, right?
We went into Manhatten yesterday to check out a diabetes center associated with Columbia University. Very impressive. It's a bit of a drive, but really not too bad, and I think Jules will get excellent treatment there. Plus, he might get the chance to be involved in research studies through the University. Cool stuff.
Ok, time for beddy-bye.
